Cloud Storage: War pricing
Next July 1st will be remembered as the date of the price war between the big names in Cloud Services relating to Storage services.
Microsoft Azure: from July 1st, upload costs will be zero
Amazon: from July 1, data transfer costs between regions will be zeroed
Other companies such as GoGrid, have always offered inbound datatransfer at no cost
It is now known that storage and bandwidth costs have a tendency to decrease over time and in particular Amazon has always accustomed us to continuous communications about the periodic lowering of storage and bandwidth costs.
How much will these maneuvers be able to induce growth in public cloud customers? We will see in the coming months, analysts’ forecasts are always very positive and providers always make it easier to find.
